• Vapor barriers: If you are installing mineral wool in an area that requires a vapor barrier, we will need this additional material to avoid moisture problems.

Placement of the plates:

We begin with the precise attachment of the plates to the frame, making sure they are level and aligned properly. The boards are covered with putty and tape to achieve a uniform surface, and after drying and sanding, you are ready to apply the final finish.

• Measuring and cutting: We measured the dimensions of the surface you wish to cover with plates of plaster. Mark the measurements on the plates of drywall and cut.
• Placement of the first plate: We start at a top corner, and we put the first plate of plasterboard in the upright position, making sure that it is level and seated correctly on the rails or stiles.
• Plates adjacent: We continue by placing the plates adjacent, leaving an expansion joint of at least 3 mm between them to prevent cracks
• Joints and finials: We apply a layer of putty plasterboard over the seams between the plates and the screws. By checking the putty is level and uniform.
